One city. Three weeks.
Everyone inside gets counted.
Zero Remain is a browser game about a city behind a wall and the people still in it. You get a handful of actions an hour, and so does everybody else. What happens to the city is the sum of them.

What you are doing
Getting people out
The city starts with thousands of civilians hiding in its buildings. They will not move on their own. You gather them, walk them across blocks that are not safe, and push them through a checkpoint in the wall. Every one you get out is one the count cannot take.
Or taking them
When you die you do not lose your character and you do not start again. You stand back up as one of the dead, on the other side of the same game, with your own way of playing it: numbers, patience, and doors that were not shut properly.
Holding a building
A barricade is the whole social contract of this game. Build it high enough to keep the dead out and you have also locked out every stranger who needed somewhere to sleep. Buildings are held by people who agree, in the street, with nothing enforcing it.
Five minutes at a time
You have action points. They come back at about one every minute and a half, up to sixty. That is the whole clock. Two short visits a day is a real way to play this, on a phone, and the city keeps moving in between.
How the season ends
Every soul in the city ends up in one of three columns: saved, still alive, or lost. The season is over when none are left alive inside the wall, when the last of the dead is put down, or when the cordon runs out of patience and closes the wall on whoever is still in there. Then the count is settled, the city is written into the record, and a new one is drawn: new streets, new names, new season. Your skills come with you.
Free, no download, no adverts
It runs in a browser, on a phone or anything else, and it is free. It is built and run by Singulence on Elixir, which is the reason a whole live city can sit on one small server and still update the block you are standing in the moment somebody else walks into it.
